You are special

Self discovery has been proven to be very important if you want to achieve greatness. It’s important for you to know who you really are. I bring you good news that you are special and there is greatness in you. Remember, you were made in God’s image and likeness. 'Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” '(Genesis 1:26 NKJV) As good as Olympic athletes are or even decorated soldiers. The Lord has made you and I in His image and likeness. Nothing is greater than that. The consequences of this is that you and I are eternal beings. This means that the real you is a spirit being.

You are limitless. Your mind and spirit have no limits but the limits you place on it deliberately or inadvertently. This means it’s a great day to be alive so smile. Whatever negative situation or circumstance that is towering above you like a Goliath once it can be seen, it is temporary. You have God on the inside of you and you will destroy every mighty wall, sea, circumstance or situation. For He who is in you is Greater than he who is in the world. 'You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. ' (I John 4:4)

Let’s begin to live on purpose. There are books yet to be written, messages yet to be preached, schools yet to be built, business deals yet to be reached, great accomplishments hidden in many of us. We need to learn to be quiet before the Lord for at least 15 minutes daily. We will hear His voice and it will resonate in our spirits. “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” (Proverbs 25:2 NKJV)

I have observed for years how people who don’t even have a faith have learnt to practice quietness of the spirit and close successful business deals. Proving that God is not a respecter of persons. He who allows His rain to fall and the sun to shine on the wicked and the righteous.

Truth be told we know the answers to life’s questions. The issue is do we have the courage. The world saw the madman of Gadara (Reference : Mark 5:1-20) but his real identity was an evangelist to Decapolis the 10 cities. Please ask yourself these important questions: “who am I”? What’s the burning dream in my heart? Why am I not living my dream? Then like a wise man once asked me; what is stopping you from implementing your dreams now?'' That inspired me to start supporting orphans around the world. Another dream of mine is being realised with these blogs.

The whole earth is awaiting the manifestation of the sons of God. For we were created on purpose by God to solve the pressing problems of the time. Winston Churchill was born to answer World War II that Hitler caused. “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” (Romans 8:19) Let’s run to make up the time we have lost in ignorance. Remember, “you are special & there is greatness in you”.
